HOW WE SUPPORT BOYS AND THEIR FAMILIES

Mentorship, structure, and guidance for teenage boys who need confidence, direction, and stronger foundations.

Start the Conversation

At Your Legacy Project, we offer a few different ways to support boys and their families.

Some boys thrive in ongoing mentoring, some benefit from a powerful immersive experience, and others need more personalised one-on-one support. Our role is to help you find the right path for your son — not to force him into a one-size-fits-all solution.

Thriving Sons is our core mentoring program for boys who need consistent guidance, structure, and positive male role models in their lives. It’s a hybrid program that combines regular online mentoring with in-person experiences, giving boys both ongoing support and real-world connection.

Inside Thriving Sons, boys work on the things that matter most at this stage of life: confidence, emotional control, discipline, motivation, and direction. Sessions focus on practical life skills, mindset, communication, and building respect for themselves and others.

This isn’t a quick fix or a punishment-based approach. It’s a steady, supportive environment where boys are guided, challenged, and encouraged to grow over time — with mentors who hold them to a higher standard while also genuinely caring about who they are becoming.

For parents, Thriving Sons offers peace of mind: your son is not trying to figure life out alone, and you’re not carrying the weight of it all by yourself.

One-on-one mentoring is offered in structured blocks of sessions, not as one-off conversations. This allows time to start building a real relationship with your son, understand what he’s dealing with, and begin working on the areas that matter most.

One-on-one mentoring is offered in structured blocks of sessions, not as one-off conversations. This allows time to start building a real relationship with your son, understand what he’s dealing with, and begin working on the areas that matter most.

Sessions are typically 30 or 60 minutes and focus on practical tools, mindset, emotional regulation, and real-life challenges. The exact structure is always discussed with parents first, so the support fits your son — not a one-size-fits-all approach.

For most families, the first step isn’t about locking into anything long-term. It’s about starting a conversation and beginning to build a relationship around your son’s growth.

Our rites of passage and Warrior Immersion events are designed to give boys a powerful, real-world experience of challenge, growth, and belonging. These are guided, structured days where boys step outside their comfort zone, work alongside other young men, and are mentored by strong, grounded leaders.

Through physical challenges, team activities, reflection, and guided conversations, boys are encouraged to test themselves, build confidence, and see themselves differently. For many, these events become a turning point — a moment where they realise they are capable of more than they thought.

These experiences aren’t about breaking boys down. They’re about building them up — helping them develop resilience, self-respect, and a stronger sense of identity, while also giving them a healthy taste of responsibility, brotherhood, and leadership.
